Intergenerational Drama Company
The Intergenerational Drama Company consists of members
of the “Intimate Realities” company and a group of hard working
parents and senior citizens. The company has developed a play entitled “Common
Ground” which portrays seniors and teens in scenarios where they
face misunderstandings, stereotypical behavior and conflicts based on
misperceptions. The play shows how seniors and teens have plenty
of common experiences, which can lead them all to stand firmly together
on “common ground.”
**YTI is currently seeking adults and senior citizens who
would be interested in meeting on Wednesdays from 5-6 pm every week for
rehearsals and participating in occasional performances locally. If
you would like more information about joining the Intergenerational Drama
Company please contact Executive/Artistic Director Mamie Duncan-Gibbs
at 914-963-3040 or e-mail her at info@youth-theatre.org
