*JULY 9th:  TYRONE AIKEN

This next performer has appeared in productions of Porgy & Bess, Little Shop of Horrors, Ain’t Misbehavin, Dreamgirls, Big River, and as Baloo the Bear in The Jungle Book.  He has been a guest Soloist with the Boys Choir of Harlem, the Niagara Symphony Orchestra, the South Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, and has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Japan and Hong Kong.

*JULY 16th:  ALEX DE CASTRO

This next performer is a Native New Yorker and a YTI Alumni. Credits include: Disney’s  “The Lion King” in the role of “Young Nala” on Broadway as well as “The Lion King’s, Cheetah Tour”. She also appeared in the first national tour of “The Color Purple” as “Young Celie.” Other credits include South Pacific at Carnegie Hall and numerous television and commercial appearances.

*JULY 23rd: DEIDRE GOODWIN

Deidre Goodwin is a veteran of 8 Broadway shows. Credits include A Chorus Line (Sheila Bryant), Chicago (Velma Kelly), Nine (Our Lady of the Spa), The Boys from Syracuse, Jesus Christ Superstar (Soul Girl) and The Rocky Horror Show. She also appeared in the original productions of Chita Rivera: The Dancer’s Life and created the role of Velma in Never Gonna Dance. As a Merry Murderess in the Oscar winning film Chicago, Deidre’s husband ran into her knife 10 times in the scintillating “Cellblock Tango”. Deidre and her co-stars also won a 2003 SAG Award for Best Ensemble.
She also featured in the film Every Little Step that documents the history of the musical A Chorus Line and the audition process for the 2006 revival. Other films include It’s Complicated, Across the Universe ,Half Nelson and the  upcoming Love and Other Drugs, Fair Game and Rabbit Hole.

JULY 30th: Michael Jackson’s “This Is It”

'Michael Jackson's This Is It' will offer Jackson fans and music lovers worldwide a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the performer as he developed, created and rehearsed for his sold-out concerts that would have taken place beginning this summer in London's O2 Arena. Chronicling the months from April through June, 2009, the film is produced with the full support of the Estate of Michael Jackson and drawn from more than one hundred hours of behind-the-scenes footage, featuring Jackson rehearsing a number of his songs for the show.

*AUGUST 6th: AISHA DE HAAS

Come hear about Ms. de Haas’ experiences on and off the stage. She was most recently seen in Road Show at the Public Theater. Broadway includes: Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me; Caroline Or Change; Rent; Bring In Da Noise, Bring In Da Funk.  Television includes Law And Order; L&O: SVU; Third Watch; Ed , The Today Show and she can be seen in the movies Across The Universe; Rent; The Secret Lives Of Dentists and Marci X.  She has toured the U.S. and Europe in Dreamgirls; Ain’t Misbehavin’;  Little Shop Of Horrors and as a backing vocalist for Oleta Adams.  Other appearances include Birdland Jazz Club, The York Theater, The Goodman Theater, The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, Orchestra Hall, Town Hall and several performances with the Broadway Inspirational Voices.
